Weekly Volunteer program
Sign up to be a part of our weekly volunteer program where you can help these kids learn basic tools they need in their every day lives. Our activities involve Cooking, Cleaning, doing laundry, learning to drive, paying bills, etc. You can play a direct role in teaching these young adults the basic skills they need to be successful in their daily lives.
Become A Member of the Family
Sondra'ss Song is about creating a home for kids who no longer have one. But it doesn't stop there, you can also be apart of our home by staying connected and helping these kids transition into the next chapter of our lives. Join our community and help us create better lives for kids who need the extra help. Bring someone the hope and happiness they need to live a life on their own by volunteering with us and playing a direct role in their transition.

Volunteering specific events
Support Sondra’s Song by attending our fundraising events. We partner with UMC and covenant to raise funds for Sondra’s Song. We also put on a Sleep It Out! Challenge. Learn more about our events.

Mentoring
Relationships are the most important thing to us. We love our kids and keep in contact with them for years and years and years to come. It’s hard enough to transition into adulthood, but it can be even harder when you don’t have someone to go to with basic questions about how to get a job, building a resume, filling out tax forms, etc. Get involved by mentoring young adults at Sondra’s Song.

Group organizations/ Greek life philanthropy
Are you a Texas Tech or Lubbock Christian Student looking for volunteer work either for yourself, your organization or you Fraternity/sorority?
Team with Sondra's Song and help us help you. We are constantly in search of more volunteers that can assist our young adults, our program and spread the word about the needs of kids who have aged out of foster care. We are flexible with teaming up for fundraising events, providing wide span volunteering activities and writing letter of recommendation for our devoted helpers. We need the help and so do you! so team with us today and become a member of our family
